First Cut! is an annual festival based in Youghal, Co. Cork that showcases the work of young filmmakers aged 12-24. It provides an opportunity for young people in Cork and beyond to contribute to and participate in a high quality and professional standard film festival. Its programme of activity is excellent, taking a varied approach that includes hands on experiences, as well as different screenings that showcase the work of young people, varying from youth groups/secondary school settings to an international open call.
