Are you a TikTok fan? Then our TikTok competition What’s the Story? is for you!

Calling all aspiring Cork-based TikTok creators aged between 14 and 18 years: take part in our fun TikTok Film Making Competition. First Cut! Youth Film Festival and Cork Credit Unions have teamed up to bring you the unique opportunity to learn how to make your own professional standard TikTok ready video and be in with the chance of winning some great prizes!

Cork Credit Unions are all about supporting local communities. We want you to show us what’s great about your place. Show off your local area, town, or village – a park, a building, or a place you hang out. Your TikTok can be live-action, animation, in Irish or English, funny or scary!

An online workshop with social media expert Robert Fitzhugh, director of Dublin Smartphone Film Festival, will guide you to; pick a topic, focus on creating short, impactful stories using TikTok, and combine it with classic storytelling sensibilities. After the workshop, you will have all the skills you need to create your TikTok masterpiece. All entries will be screened on Thursday, March 9th at The Regal Cinema Youghal where the winners will receive their prizes. It is a free event and all those who enter are invited!
