Cork Young Filmmakers Summer Film Week

Posted on

Make Movies & Have Fun this Summer with Cork Young Filmmakers’ week-long filmmaking camps in locations around Co. Cork. If you’re based in Cork, aged 14-18yrs, and interested in making films…these courses are for you!

Develop skills in front of and behind the camera with expert tutors and equipment from Cork Film Centre. Learn: storytelling, direction, film production, script development, sound, lighting, cinematography and editing. No previous filmmaking experience required!

Participants will work in small teams to create a new film during the week, while having fun, building confidence, encouraging creativity and self-expression. The workshops also help to develop critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.

Places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. As the workshops sell out each year, early booking is advised. In case of oversubscription a waiting list will operate.
