First Cut! Youth Film Festival is delighted to partner with Sample-Studios in a programme which presents a series of free filmmaking workshops for Transition Year students in Gaelcholaiste Mhuire A.G and St. Vincent’s Secondary School, led by Maximilian Le Cain.

The Cork Creative Careers Programme is schools-based creative careers talks & workshops programme for TY Students in Secondary Schools and 6th class pupils in Primary Schools. Students are invited to explore their own creativity and creative career paths with local tutors including Visual Art, Photography, Printmaking, Creative Writing, Curating and Filmmaking.

This programme is funded by The Arts Council of Ireland and Cork City Council. Partners: Crawford Art Gallery, Cork Printmakers, Triskel Arts Centre, Cork City Libraries, Cork World Book Fest and First Cut Youth Film Festival.
