ATHRÚ AMHÁIN! / ONE CHANGE! Climate Action Filmmaking Competition As Gaeilge
Comórtas Scannánóireachta á Reáchtáil ag First Cut! Youth Film Festival trí Ghaeilge / First Cut! Youth Film Festival Filmmaking Through Irish Competition
Tá lúcháir ar First Cut! a gcéad clár scannánóireachta trí mheán na Gaeilge a fhógairt. Is tionscnamh é an comórtas seo a spreagfaidh scannánóirí óga chun scannáin atá nóiméad amháin ar fhad a chruthú, as Gaeilge, a théann i ngleic leis an topic phráinneach; athrú aeráide, ag díriú ar na réitigh
atá ann.
First Cut! is delighted to announce its first filmmaking through Irish programme. This competition is an initiative for young filmmakers to make films in the Irish language that tackle the urgent topic of climate change and create one minute films that focus on solutions.
Beidh dhá aoisghrúpa sa chomhórtas spreagúil seo: 12 go 14 agus 15 go 18. Is féidir a bheith ag obair i d’aonor nó i ngrúpa. Tugtar cuireadh duit scannán nóiméad amháin ar fhad a dhéanamh, as Gaeilge, faoi athrú aeráide agus conas gur féidir linn domhan níos inbhuanaithe a chruthú. Cuirtear fáilte roimh aon chur chuige maidir leis an téama seo: clár faisnéise, drámaíocht, beochan nó greann fiú. An rud is tábhachtaí ná gur fíorléargas ar athrú aeráide é, agus go léiríonn an gearrscannán na tuairimí agus na dearcthaí atá ag daoine óga faoin gceist ríthábhachtach seo.
We are opening this exciting competition to two age groups: 12 to 14 and 15 to 18, working individually or in groups. You are invited to make one minute long films in Irish that explore climate change and how to make our world a more sustainable place. Any approach to this theme is welcomed: documentary, drama, animation or even comedy. The important thing is that they have a genuine perspective on climate change , and that the short films represent young people’s views and feelings on an issue that is important to everyone.
Taispeánfar gach scannán a dhéantar mar chuid de ‘Athrú Amháin’ ag First Cut! Youth Film Festival 2022, áit a bhfógrófar buaiteoirí an chomórtais.
All films made as part of ATHRÚ AMHÁIN will be screened at the 2022 First Cut! Youth Film Festival where the competition winners will be announced.
Beidh na ceardlanna saor in aisce agus faoi stiúr scannánóirí a bhfuil go leor taithí acu sa réimse. Is féidir pé trealamh atá ar fáil a úsáid chun an scannán a dhéanamh, fón cliste san áireamh, ionas nach bac í an teicneolaíocht. Ní gá taithí a bheith agat i scannánóireacht.
Specially made short filmmaking workshops will be made available to all participating young people and groups. The short videos will take them through the steps to make and edit their one minute films that focus on solutions to climate change. This free workshop will be led by experienced filmmakers. Films can be made using whatever equipment participants have access to including smartphones so technology is not a barrier. No prior filmmaking experience is necessary.
Is é an 28ú Eanáir an spriocdháta chun spéis a léiriú agus caithfear scannán, atá curtha i gcríoch, a chur isteach faoin 1ú Márta, ionas gur féidir iad a thaispeáint ag First Cut! Youth Film Festival (FCYFF) 2022.
